"Hidden Faces" French Renaissance Revival pendant

Intriguing pendant featuring a 1800's french carving. This pendant was created using a die which was created using an antique, hand carved steel hub. The original hub was carved in France during the 1800's Victoria era, at the height of theater. I used a hydraulic press and forced sterling silver into the impression. I used another piece of silver in another antique struck die and created an ornate bail for the pendant. I then soldered the pressing onto a sterling silver ring and lastly a beaded boarder was soldered after the bail was attached. One of a kind!
